One of the major concerns among students when choosing a field of study for their concentration is whether or not the degree which they will choose leads to a profitable career.
It is no surprise that the market leans toward career-ready degrees such us those from the fields of science, finance, engineering, which are usually offered by the STEM. Thus, those who choose the arts worry that their studies might not be as valued by employers as compared to their STEM or STEM-related counterparts.
Graduates of Liberal Arts however need not to worry about being chosen by employers as Edwin Koc, Director of Research, Public Policy and Legislative Affairs at the National Association of Colleges and Employers, stated in a that employment of Liberal Arts majors improved and claimed that from 2 percent in 2014 to nearly 48 percent.
